car jolts when switching gears

this issue happens randomly where my car jolts when switching gears. this hsppens when it moves forward or backwards. i am concerned that this might cause accidents.

is this with the CVT? though that is a clear sign of issues with your transmission. you can try adding or replacing your transmission fluid or have the whole transmission thing checked by an expert.
