Weird noise coming from the brake pedal

My wife and i have been driving the trailblazer for a few months and i recently noticed theres a weird noise comming from it when i press it like ticking. Not sure if it was there before but its here now and is driving me nuts. Is it normal?

No way! i thought i was the only one dealing w this. i even thought that this was normal im thiking that this has something to do wit the brake booster but honestly im just guessing

traiblazer owner with the same problem, went to several dealers and a few mechanics about this and they all said its normal part of how the system works. one could be lying to me but i doubt all of them would so i guess were good

Man, once you hear a noise like that, it's game over, you're gonna hear it every time you drive now. Could be something totally normal, or it could be your Trailblazer trying to communicate in morse code. Either way, I'd second checking the usual suspects like injectors, exhaust leaks, or heat shields. If it gets louder or weirder, definitely worth having someone take a look before you start spiraling into full-on "What was that?!" mode every drive.

is this noise new or it's been there all along? i'm worried about exhaust leaks or belt issues but yeah i am hoping it's not that alarming because all three of you reported such? hmm. have you tried checking the oil levels? maybe you need a change oil.
