Lane assist issues

Hey everyone! So my niece just got a 2021 Trailblazer LT including some option packages. Great car but she told me she's having problems with the Lane Assist feature.

I'm familiar with this as I also have that feature on my car so she had me test the Trailblazer. Tested the car for about 10 mins not exceeding 60mph and I found that when I activate Lane Assist, the steering becomes erratic and uneven but it goes away when i turn the Lane Assist off. This happens on all speed levels.

I find this very strange and is hoping that anyone can share any tips or suggestions on how to fix this.

the only reason for this is that you might have missed out on a software update or a recalibration. so long as it doesn't work the way it should such as doing strange behaviors when the lane assist is on but not when it's off... trust me, it's that thing that i mentioned. but anyway, although it sounds really easy to do, it's still best to consult with your dealership. after all having a chevy doesn't make us an expert, and especially that it's your niece's car it's hard to just tinker with it.

hmm, that sounds pretty annoying. I'm not super familiar with all the technical stuff, but it seems like something's off with how the lane assist is working. Maybe it's a sensor issue or something with the calibration? I've heard people mention that sometimes it's just a software glitch, but I really don't know much about how to fix it. I'd probably suggest taking it to the dealership just to be sure, though. hopefully, they can figure it out

I agree with this one strongly only because I had an issue in the past and thought to just ask forums, then I ended up really making my car incapable to be used anymore. Completely.

could probably be a missed update or calibration. Even if it seems like a small issue, it's best not to mess with it yourself, lets let the dealership sort it out properly.

I agree with this. Take it back if it's still under warranty. make use of that
