Wireless CarPlay not working

Anyone else dealing with wireless CarPlay absolutely refusing to connect in their 2022? I'm at my wit's end here and I don't want to go to dealership yet because this should be a basic feature!

I've restarted my phone countless times, tried connecting my wife's phone too but it wouldn't connect. I've repaired from scratch, toggled the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on and off a few times. I even did a full infotainment system reset in the car settings, which was a pain to set up everything again, and still nothing. I've checked the settings and software updates and everything seems to be on point.

I plugged it in with a cable and wired CarPlay works perfectly, which is even more frustrating because it tells me the phone and the car's general CarPlay functionality are fine! It's really just the wireless part that's decided to go on vacation.

What else can I do? Can still be fixed at home?

I totally get how frustrating it can be when your Wireless CarPlay isn't cooperating especially since the wired connection works perfectly. Have you tried going into your iPhone's settings to forget your car and then re-pairing it? That often does the trick. Also, take a moment to see if your phone is automatically connecting to the car's Wi-Fi or if you've got a VPN running, that can definitely mess things up. If you're still having trouble, resetting your network settings might help, but just a heads up, that will clear out your saved Wi-Fi passwords. And by the way, are both your phone and the car's systems fully updated? If things still aren't working, you might need to swing by the dealership for a diagnostic. Have you noticed if there's a specific pattern for when it stops working?

What changed recently...like a phone update, new app, or even a new device nearby, that might've triggered the wireless CarPlay to stop working?

It seems like it's an issue with your car's Wi-Fi module, not your phone or the general CarPlay system. Try disconnecting your car's battery for about 15 minutes.. this completely drains any residual power and forces a hard reboot of all the electronics. It's a bit of a hassle, but it's a known fix for these kinds of issues. If that doesn't work, I'd think it's a hardware issue with the car's Wi-Fi antenna or module, and you'll probably have to take it to the dealership to have it replaced.

Seem like you already tried everything except finding a priest and I understand your frustration and not wanting to go to the dealer, but in this case I'm afraid you have no other choice. First, your Chevy is still under warranty and second, there's not much else you can try at home.
