hi anyone else having issues with 2025 transmissions? Our daughter's check engine light popped on 14 days after we got her a new ride. They gave us a loaner, but we're bummed. Her last car had tranny problems, so we went new for safety and reliability. Should we just roll with the repair or push for a buyback if that's an option? Any suggestions pls. :(

@NearlyHeadlessNickSV535: honestly it's like the car's been watching too many medical dramas and decided it wanted its own set of check-engine cliffhangers, but man, 14 days in and you're already dealing with this? Sounds like you swapped out a problem for another, and while repairs might sound like the straightforward path, a buyback could save you from more headaches if this turns into a recurring issue because no one buys a new ride expecting to be best buddies with the repair shop. What's the dealer saying so far?

Oof, 14 days in and already a cel? That's rough. 😬 Hopefully just a sensor, but I get the concern after your last car's issues. If it's a quick fix, might be fine, but if it drags on, I'd start looking into buyback options. anyone else having transmission troubles this early?

dang that's rough like @IloveJesusbro here said. 14 days in and you already got problems like that. i suggest let's wait for the diagnosis for it mate then when they see something long term and unfixable or whatever you can try going for the buyback... best of luck. do update us here.

Two weeks in and check engine lights? not what you signed up for. If the dealer's slow to fix it, a buyback might save you future headaches. What have they said so far?

A pal just mentioned a similar concern days ago.. his wife is driving a 2025 RS AWD and its check engine light came on after driving a little over 1000 miles. Now I wonder how common transmission problems are with this vehicle. So.. any updates?

If the vehicle is still under warranty, then let them fix it, only if it's just one repair attempt so far. But, don't forget to take notes like dates, diagnostics, work orders because if they won't be able to fix it after multiple tries than i think that you are eligible for buyback or lemon law depending on the state you live in.

This is too bad man. Agree with what they said here, better a buyback. What's the update by the way? Been a while since your post.

I would push a buyback if I were you. it's just too much and it would bring more trouble in the future

Exactly what I mean. Few days later and this is still on my mind. It's quite unusual to happen only 14 days and it's the latest model! I suppose it's better that as early as now it's pushed for a buyback.
