heated seats not turning on with remote start

set my heated seats to kick in with remote start but they just won't. checked the settings, turned it on and off a few times, still nothing. kinda sucks when it's freezing outside. anyone else had this issue or know a fix? thinking of trying a battery reset next unless someone has a better idea.

i read somewhere that some vehicles dont turn on heated seats above certain temp. If that not the case do the battery trick and report back if it was succesful
