A little something to help in case of a lockout

A friend told me their 2024 Trailblazer was already running after using the remote start, but when they went to unlock it, nothing worked. Even OnStar couldn't help, so they used the key inside the fob to get in. After getting in and shifting to reverse, then back to park, the doors finally unlocked and everything worked again.

What could've caused the system to lock out like that even while remote start was active, maybe a sensor glitch, key fob battery issue, or a security feature kicking in unexpectedly?

@Carzz It's most likely a security system quirk, yes. Sometimes the car doesn't fully recognize the fob after a remote start until the door is manually unlocked.

Def heard of this, sometimes the system glitches after remote start, locking everything up until the car cycles through gear changes, so shifting to reverse then back to park probably reset the electronic locks, if not a dealer might be wise
