What's the deal with my Chevrolet Trailblazer's front license plate mount? Bracket placement seems off and I'd rather not drill into the bumper. Has anyone figured out a clean way to do it?
I used a no-drill bracket that just clamps into the grille. Looks clean. Maybe you can try that out and check Amazon for it.What's the deal with my Chevrolet Trailblazer's front license plate mount? That's music to my ears, as I really want to avoid drilling. I was hoping to be on the scent, looking for a clamp-on style. Did you experience any issues with it blocking the sensors in the grille? Any specific brand name I should look for on Amazon would be greatly appreciated.I used a no-drill bracket that just clamps into the grille. Looks clean. I 100% agree, brother. It's a strange design when a better solution is so simple. Do you suppose magnets would be strong enough to hold the plate on through an automatic car wash?Sometimes these little quirks with cars make me wonder why manufacturers don't just include adjustable mounts for stuff like license plates. A simple clip-on or magnet system would save so much hassle
