2021 trailblazer rs check engine light suddenly came on. help.

my trailblazer journey had been smooth-sailing for almost 5 years when i encountered the first ever issue: the check engine light suddenly lit.

i was celebrating hitting 30k miles when this happened. i have a hunch its due to the emission control system but im not sure yet. just wanted to check for your thoughts before i head over to the mechanic.

your trailblazer was cruising fine for 5 years check engine light at 30k miles.. not cool to see that party pooper show up! it could be the emission system like you think, maybe a sensor acting weird. i'd say you are smart to check here first but mechanic's your next stop to nail it down..

that must have been crazy , at least you've taken the car to the mechanic, so have they been able to diagnose the actual problem ?

What's the diagnosis? I see this thread has been up a while so I was just wondering like 20days later what happened? All good man?

cel can come up for anything from a dirty maf or map sensor to a hole in the block, so it's not anything to panic I think

Up @chevylover. Hope you're ok and nothing big happened. I'm still unsure why a low mileage car would have that problem asap. Feels like a dealer problem.

I can't imagine how annoying this is. Good luck at the mechanic! Hopefully, they can diagnose it quickly and get you back on the road
