gm offering cash for squeaky brakes

So here's the deal. I've been having issues with squeaky brakes on my car and I got something to share for anyone else dealing with the same thing. GM is offering cash settlements instead of actually fixing the issue at the dealership. I went back and forth with them for a while, didn't want to pay out of pocket for the fix. Ended up getting a lemon lawyer, and GM settled with me. So, if you're dealing with the same brake issue, don't rush to replace the pads. Try pushing the dealership for temporary fixes and maybe talk to a lawyer. It could work out for you too!

i have heard about this before. this info helps just in case it happens to me but so far i have no problem with it. i just need to share this with m friends.but do you always have to get a lemon lawyer? like is not it automatic that they go give you the settlement? it is also probably expensive for some with limited budget to even hire a lawyer.
